Fadah P Year to Year, his annual all-white birthday bash, took over Sorrel & Lime in Dorchester on Saturday night, September 19, 2026, and ran on past midnight into Sunday morning. This year the night carried something extra: Fadah P, Peyton Daley, was honored with a citation from Boston Mayor Michelle Wu for 37 years of work in reggae music, in Boston and around the world.
Thirty-seven years is not a number you see much in this business. A graduate of Boston Latin Academy and Wentworth Institute of Technology, Fadah P hosts a show on Spark FM Boston, the city's only Caribbean radio station, dedicated to the lives of the Caribbean diaspora, and Spark FM sponsored the night. He is a humble, kind human and, in my eyes, the perfect role model for the Caribbean.
The music came from the World Immortal Stone Love, with Diamond and Iceberg on the selection. Stone Love is based out of Jamaica, and a sound like that cannot carry its own equipment across the water, so Stone Love played on the Dynamite Sound system. Dynamite kick weh!
