From the pit
Last night's R&B Tour stop at Gillette Stadium was absolutely worth it. The venue was packed, and the people-watching alone was entertainment, with so many women dressed like they were either hoping to meet Usher, Chris Brown, or their future husband. DJ Fresh (@iamdjfresh) kicked things off and had the crowd energized long before the headliners hit the stage. Despite a delayed start due to technical issues and another brief pause during the show, Usher apologized and both artists more than made up for it, delivering over two and a half hours of incredible performances. Hearing classics like Burn, Confessions, You Got It Bad, Back to Sleep, Ay-Yo, and Residuals had the crowd singing every word, while Mario's performance of Let Me Love You was a great bonus. My personal highlight was watching Breezy literally fly across the stadium and land just a few feet away from me. If you get the chance to see this tour, I highly recommend it, but my advice is to spend the extra money on better seats because it creates a completely different experience than sitting in the nosebleeds.
