On Sept. 8, 2011, Boston celebrated Fashion's Night Out in connection to a series of nationwide events by the same name in partnership with Vogue/CFDA. From 6-11 p.m., Newbury Street was closed to cars for the first time in 15 years and the blocks were lined with new cars from Herb Chambers and live performances from the Berklee School of Music. Select stores extended their hours, offered shopping incentives, and overall threw a fashionable bash that very well may put Boston on the fashion-forward radar.
The Prudential Center was looking pretty in pink for the city's Fashion's Night Out festivities.
